Tenzing Hillary Airport(2869m) at Lukla, Nepal is one of the most exhilarating and dangerous airports in the world. With only 527m of runway and about 700m angled slope which ends at a steep cliff, flying to and fro here feels more of an adventure than an ordinary flight elsewhere. Known as the gateway to Everest region, it is also one of the busiest airports in Nepal. Here are some of the pictures which gives you a clearer view of this magnificient airport.

ReplyDeleteHi! everyone.
ReplyDeleteI had just travelled Nepal and other parts. The Pokhra is manificient. The city is neat and clean and good chorus. First of all the airport is very very neat and clean, though it is small in comparison to the Kathmandu domestic terminal.
In my next trip to Nepal I definitely travel to Lukla airport.
